| Since no-one has posted a similar thread, I'll have to do it.
We want your opinion of the new menu bar! Please give us your suggestions if it needs improving.
EDIT: I personally dislike the long length of the bar - as the images are small but add up to a very long bar. Maybe reduce the size by 50-75 percent?

| We really need to reduce its size. I can't see more than a half of each page with this long navbar. I searched the Admin panel and FAQs for over an hour last night, but I couldn't split the navbar into 2 lines. If I only could... | |

| How about that drop down menu then? We could place "Log Out", "Groups", "Members", "Messages" and "Profile" on it. | |

| @AJ On the thoght of resizing it: If we could get it into a smaller size it's fine with me, as long as Aryan's okay with the extra work of adding the new ones. Here's the best I can get it without totally ruining the pic. With these kind of results we might as well stick with the current. @FD I think we have already discussed that. A drop-down menu would require DHTML or some other flash coding, this website supports HTML. Another reason would be the loading would be slow for the site. | |

| A2L, its mainly because of the glow that makes it unable to be shrunk. If we had the main file, it will be much easier(or remove it glow...).
I feel that if we want it to have a long length, it should at least cover the whole width of the screen. It looks a bit awkward like this, with some misspelled words above it and the banner almost at the top of the page. o.o

Yes, everyone has disagreed with my proposal for a drop down menu. With a drop down menu it would dramatically shorten the menu bar. But that's going off topic. How about removing the glow and see what it looks like?

| Did I disagree? *Flashback* Nope, I posted the coding only. >< And to add one to my post, shortening it would help a lot, but try picturing how it would look first. https://2img.net/h/i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa114/mmx8_revolution/GVSSSS.png Maybe not so ugly, but you can get the idea. It will not match the format. Unless you mean resizing another way? PS: I like my watermark. EDIT: I vectorized it for fun and this is how it turned out. Thought you'll be interested. https://2img.net/h/i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa114/mmx8_revolution/GV3.png EDIT2: Turned into links so it won't ruin the page... | |

| Can you please remind me of what the uploaded pics of the menu bar are for? Oooo I like the second one How about shortening the menu bar by resizing every image on it, so that we don't have to scroll to view the width of the page. | |

| Resizing every image? You mean shrinking the whole thing? | |

| Now we don't need to worry! The menu looks much better. This thread will remain open for discussion on the menu bar, or userbar, or whatever you wan't to call it | |

| Definately reduce the length. This is what I hate. Note the big arrow pointing to it I hate the slider, having to slide the page accross, really annoying. | |

| Okay, Aryan and I are aware of this problem. I have requested smaller sized bars from my friend who does designs. We have gotten a few and are awaiting the rest. Please be patient and we will have this problem solved. | |

I can shrink the menu quite well without it being pixelated. Or do you want another menu?

You said that it stretches the page on your monitor, but if it is on two lines it wouldn't stretch it. - Quote :

The menu looks alright now, the shrinked version.
