| For some reasons, I'm not going to work on death creature for a month. I'm working on a new puzzle game instead. It's called Gem mania. I'll release a playable demo soon. Oh and I'm going to put this on real arcade for sale. I think this will help us to get the domain sooner. Here's a review I wrote for the game :
Your goal is to match 3 or more of every gem. The more gems you match, the more score you get.
Simple huh? But you can get even more of this game with some hints and tricks:
Have strategy! Try to make chain matchs for chain bonus and double score.
Think Fast! Your time is running, so you have to think fast, and match even faster!
Make bigger matches! There are some spacial gems, listed below:
Super Gem
if you match 4 gems in the same color, you'll get a super gem. If you match your super gem with normal gems, it'll blow up and destroy all gems around itself. And guess what? You'll get the score of destroyed gems!
Extreme Gem
If you match 5 gems in the same color, you'll get an Extreme gem. You can use this gem more than 5 times. Each time you move the Extreme Gem with another one, it will remove all gems with the color of the gem you moved.
Screenshots:
Since the board is not ready yet, I cannot post any screenies. But here's a backdrop :

This game you decribe remind me of other similar games, like an arcade game I have on my 360, Hexic.

| It sounds exactly like a game i have, Bejeweled 2. Did you get your idea from there? Anyway, good luck with your game! I hope it turns out well and also that you won't abandon Death Creature 2. | |

| I doubt it will sell good - I know, I'm negative - but it is just a clone. Many of these games, in fact 100s have already been released for different platforms. Of course, I'll play it and rate it | |

| Yes, it's a clone of bejeweled 2. But it has some exclusive features : It's cheap (Maybe 5 or 10 dollars) It has a new puzzle mode (Made it by myself) It's fully customizable and modable (You can change everything on the game, the gems, backdrops, musics and even make new game mods!) I think it's going to be cool. | |

Cheap? Not that it's expensive to me, but compare that price to the original? - Quote :

This might be fun | |

| Last time I saw Bejeweled it was about 20$ . Maybe it's changed now.
Off-topic, let's wait until I finish the beta version.

| It looks great, but some of the gems have jagged edges. It will be harder to spot if they are moving, which I don't think they are.
Some tips: -If you can make glow effects, these may make them look less dull. -A darker background would make the bright gems stand out more. -The words 'Original Mode' should be right on top and the 'FPS' all the way below, to show the order of importance. - Darker colors for the words would help, unless you are going to change the background like I said. - A better looking menu and maybe with a slight bevel would help. - The menu should have a different background than the area with the gems.

| I've just noticed that this is in the GM forums. Aryan, is this a GM project? If it isn't please move it to the appropriate forum. | |

| I just moved the topic from Gamers Workshop projects to GM projects. Yup, it's a GM project and I'm making it using Game Maker 7 Pro. @FlameDragon : - Quote :

-If you can make glow effects, these may make them look less dull. Those jagged edges are because I've taken this Screeny in JPG to reduce the size of the image. If you play it in HD monitor, it'll show itself great! - Quote :

I have over 5 backgrounds for this game. They'll change every level. - Quote :

I'll change the FPS and Game Mode's places - Quote :

Refer to my first answer. - Quote :

I'm changing the menu, but I don't get your meaning from slight bevel. - Quote :

OK, OK. I'll change it. Oh, and I was thinking of a background game board for Gems' board. Something like this : Sorry, I had to place watermarks because of the guests viewing this image. This image will be placed below the Gems, as a background. Is it good?

Sounds great, but darker backgrounds for the gems at least will work well. *screenie of bejeweled 2* - Aryan wrote:

If you are setting the backgrounds to a theme, it would be easier to put the wordings and glows. - Aryan wrote:

Bevel means a 3D look. - Aryan wrote:

It looks nice and neat(without watermarks), but maybe make it more shiny or something? To make it have a more gem-like look. Take a look at the screenshot of bejeweled I put.
