Trash Can Forum?

I think there should be a "trash can" to better organize these forums. Let me explain what that is if you don't already know. A trash can is basically an empty forum that is only used to move locked or dead topics or spam so they don't crowd the forums.

There are rules such as if a member thinks a thread shouldn't be in the trash, he could appeal to the staff member who moved it there. If the staff member says no, the member could take it to the Admin and he will have the final say.

Also no one should to post in that foum or make new threads there. If they do it is considered trash since it's in the trash can.

Once in a while (like every other month or so), a staff member could prune the trash can and remove topics from there if they desire.

Do you agree or disagree with this idea?

Believe it or not, I was thinking about this yesterday...and maybe it isn't such a bad idea. We do have a few dead threads.

After a while I (or someone) will send a PM to Aryan to specifically request it. I've been contacting him personally with new suggestions that have been accepted, so we can stop chatting about the idea instead of actually doing it.

But I disagree with deleting the posts after a while. They should stay as an archive.
