Because a favicon's maximum size is 16*16, nobody uses animated colors and texts.
A favicon is usually a simple word or 2, like current one. Or it's the Logo of the website, that we don't have yet. Or it could be an animated scrolling text, that it's too fancy to use.

I think we should think of the logo first.

Well here's my suggestion, we should have a vortex picture that is black, gray, and blue.

No seriously, we are a vortex and our colors are black, gray, and blue. Smile

That's an awesome idea A2L! We really are a vortex and no website has ever used a vortex as their logo before!

We just need some different versions of the vortex logo. A simple 32 bit colored one would be great for the favicon. And we can ask from professional GFX designers to make us a really professional vortex image as the main logo.

Now, should there be a 3D vortex, or a 2D cartoon vortex? Something like a bunch of black, grey and blue lines which make both GV words and a vortex. Think about that.

Thx for the support I will get to work on it right away. If it looks a little choppy ngh is always available to convert it afterwards.

Converting isn't the best solution to choppy images. ><
And I doubt you can convert the image you posted; small images will be messed up.

18*18 is the standard size.
